Here's your checklist:

  1. Do you know that the General Election is Tuesday, November 3?
  2. Made a plan to vote?
  3. Have you had a conversation with your family about your voting plan?
  4. Signed the back of your absentee ballot envelope (if you requested one)?
  5. Dropped off your absentee ballot (if you requested one) either at your town hall or in a certified ballot drop box?
  6. Tracked your absentee ballot (if you requested one)?
  7. Do you know where your polling place is (if you are voting in-person on Nov. 3)?
  8. Gathered items you need if you are voting at your polling place for the first time (if you are voting in-person on Nov. 3)?
  9. Contacted the ACLU of Maine's Voter Protection Hotline if you or someone you know encountered an issue while voting.
  10. Shared this checklist with your friends and family?

Be safe, regularly wash your hands, wear a mask when you go out, and make a voting plan!
