We need a healthy democracy to fight for a healthy environment. A more just and equitable democracy that works for everyone is necessary to achieve meaningful progress on the climate crisis and to confront environmental injustices.

MCA provides Maine people with nonpartisan voting resources and participates in coalitions to advance policy solutions that proactively increase people’s ability to participate in elections, safeguard ballot access, and defend against attacks and obstacles that make it harder to vote.
